Week 2 Reading Reflection

1) What was the biggest surprise for you in the reading? In other words, what did you read that stood out the most as different from your expectations?

The biggest surprise to me was reading about the costs of free trade. The book states that there's a new movement in US politics towards fair trade rather than free trade. There's a chance that the service industry may be conducted across international borders instead of domestic borders. When international factories are shutting down small business in places around the factory, many are asking what can be done to amend the situation. Government? Community? Other businesses?

2) Identify at least one part of the reading that was confusing to you + 3) If you were able to ask two questions to the author, what would you ask? Why?

The author included a section for hot trends to look out for. One of those hot trends includes high school athletes.

4) Was there anything you think the author was wrong about? Where do you disagree with what she or he said? How?
